One week ago last Thursday, I received a call from Natalie, saying that she wanted a simple wedding and could we do it in a week? January being a slow month, I assured her that we could do that.

As she started describing to me what she wanted for her wedding, I realized that this was more than a “Simple Maui Wedding”. She wanted a Maui waterfall, a limo to transport them, a musician to play for the ceremony, a bouquet, flowers for the children, hair and make-up, dress pressing, pants alterations, a video and dinner-on-the-beach. Oh, and she needed help with her Maui travel!

We were able to accommodate her every wish. I don’t encourage you to wait until the last minute because many of the top notch vendors may already be taken. But in this instance we lucked out!

I was able to get her booked first class from San Diego on a direct flight the following Monday. They had wonderful accommodations at the Fairmont Kea Lani Resort. Natalie, Scott and their two children were a delight to work with from beginning to end.

They loved it so much, they are planning to come back next summer and do it all over again, only with 60 guests this time!
