One of the most fun things about our Maui weddings has to be the flowers. Most all brides on the mainland have bouquets, but here in Maui, they seem to be so much more dramatic. Maybe its just my imagination but I think Maui wedding flowers are better than those at mainland weddings.

In our top two Maui wedding packages, the standard type of bouquet is the cascade. In the Ohana package, our Maui wedding package #3, we have a smaller cascade. In our Kula package, which is our largest number #4 Maui wedding package, we offer a deluxe cascade.

In the smaller cascade, the central flower is usually a stargazer lily, which is in my mind, one of the more dramatic flowers. In the deluxe cascade there will often be two stargazer lillies.

The cascades hang down from the central grouping of flowers (and thus comes the name “cascade”). The deluxe version of this stunning bouquet hangs down further than its smaller sister.

Now some brides, if they are small in stature, have shared with me that they don’t want to be overwhelmed by the size of their cascade (especially if they have ordered one of our larger packages). Of course, brides can always substitute different flower arrangements if they like.

Anything is usually possible as long as you plan ahead and make your order well in advance. Remember that our flowers are often coming from Holland or South America and so it becomes virtually impossible to fulfill a unique order or provide a different shade of flowers on quick notice.

Within this post you can see photo examples of several different cascading bouquets. There is such a tremendous variety of flower possibilities in these bouquets that it is important for you to communicate with us early so that you won’t be disappointed. Of course, if there needs to be a special order for anything, there will more than likely be an extra charge.

Our florist is very talented and if she knows what you want, she can usually come up with it. The vast majority of my brides just love their flowers and rave about their bouquets.
